Carousel Capital is pleased to announce the promotion of Alan C. Welch, Jr. to the position of Principal of the firm effective immediately. In this position, Mr. Welch will have primary responsibility in working with the Managing Partners to originate, execute, manage and exit investments. With this promotion, the firm also wishes to recognize the substantial contribution Mr. Welch has made to the success of the firm since joining in 2008.

Prior to joining Carousel Capital in 2008, Mr. Welch worked in private equity at Arcapita and for the investment banking division of BB&T Capital Markets. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
