Carousel Capital announced today that Emily Johnson has joined the firm as the new Vice President of Business Development.
In Ms. Johnson's role, she is responsible for originating, assessing and developing investment leads and relationships with companies. She will also develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, financing providers and other sources of opportunities. Ms. Johnson joins Adam Elmore, a Principal with the firm, who also focuses on business development and deal origination efforts as they team to continue Carousel's 25+ year effort of investing in companies located in the Southeast.
Ms. Johnson joins the firm from BlackArch Partners, a sell-side mergers and acquisitions firm where she worked in their Sponsor Coverage group. Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies with a concentration in Economics and a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
