Carousel Capital announced today that Tyler Moses was named Principal of the firm, effective immediately. He is being promoted from his current role as Vice President with the firm.
The Partners of the firm wish to congratulate Tyler on this well-deserved achievement. Tyler’s contributions to the success of the firm since his arrival 5 years ago are notable as he has earned this promotion by creating value among our investment teams and ultimately contributed to the high performance of the portfolio companies with which he has worked. We also appreciate Tyler’s leadership by example as he represents the firm’s values in all his interactions.
Mr. Moses joined Carousel in 2017. Previously, he worked in mergers and acquisitions at Piper Sandler (f/k/a Piper Jaffray) in Charlotte. Prior to that, he worked in the nuclear power industry as an engineer at AREVA NP.
Mr. Moses' current board and portfolio company responsibilities include Huseby, ProcessBarron, Armstrong Transport Group, Legacy Data Access, and Reliance Partners. Mr. Moses' former portfolio company responsibilities include Apex Analytix. Mr. Moses received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
