Carousel Capital announced today that Chris Wells was named Principal of the firm, effective immediately. He is being promoted from his current role as Vice President with the firm.
The Partners of the firm wish to congratulate Chris on this well-deserved achievement. Since his arrival 5 years ago, Chris has been an important contributor to the firm’s success. Chris has been an active participant in supporting our portfolio company’s management teams to drive meaningful growth and value creation. In addition, Chris has been a key part of our investment team through the successful evaluation and execution of several new platform acquisitions. We also appreciate Chris’ leadership by example as he represents the firm’s values in all his interactions.
Mr. Wells joined Carousel in 2019. Previously, he worked in private equity at Saw Mill Capital. Prior to that, he worked in investment banking at Edgeview Partners.
Mr. Wells' current board and portfolio company responsibilities include Ethos, Landscape Workshop, Quality Automotive Services and Expedited Travel. Mr. Wells received a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
