Charles Grigg joined Carousel Capital in 1997. Previously, Mr. Grigg worked in private equity with Orion Partners in Boston. Prior to that, he worked in the healthcare corporate finance group at Smith Barney & Co. in New York.
Mr. Grigg (along with Mr. Schmidly) is primarily responsible for leading and managing the investment and portfolio company efforts for the firm. Mr. Grigg has led investments for Carousel in various industries with a particular concentration in the medical and healthcare services sectors. He has also led investments in the business services, data management and information services sectors. He currently serves as a director of O.R. Colan Associates, Legacy Data Access, Landscape Workshop, Palmetto Infusion Services, Apex Analytix, and Huseby. Mr. Grigg has served on the board of several prior portfolio companies including AGDATA, Axium, Brasseler USA, Caldwell & Gregory, Hepaco, Mergent, Pye Barker Fire & Safety, and Advantage Software.
Mr. Grigg received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, from Yale University and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
